Lola Maja is a celebrated beauty and film industry professional with over 30 years of experience. Named one of the "Top 100 Inspiring Women in Nigeria" and a recipient of the "Lifetime Achievement for Contribution to The Industry" award, Lola's expertise includes Beauty & Holistic Therapies, Makeup Artistry, Lash & Brow Artistry, Nails, SFX Prosthetics and Inclusive Education. Lola’s main focus now is mostly on education and consulting, working with several institutions in the UK including Screen Skills and Bath Academy to name a few. Her work in Film & TV spans decades with the BBC, MTV, Netflix, Paramount and Amazon Prime, in print with international features in names like Vogue Italia and Forbes; hosting her own show "Kiss & Makeup" on AMC International’s EVA+ and a face of Lancôme’s 2018 West Africa campaign. Her extensive portfolio includes projects with Iman, Ciara, Angela Griffin, Raheem Sterling, Danny Glover, Adjoa Andoh, Wizkid and many other notable figures.

June Jensen leads UK Beauty and EMEA Thought Leadership (commercial) at Circana, where she plays a central role in shaping strategic insights and driving growth across the global beauty industry. She was instrumental in establishing the UK Beauty division at The NPD Group and subsequently led the UK operation as Country Leader and Executive Director for Beauty UK for over 15 years. During her tenure, she also held senior European leadership roles, including Head of Commercial for EMEA and Head of EMEA Strategic Corporate Clients, where she led key regional growth initiatives and major client partnerships. Following the acquisition of NPD by IRI, June transitioned into Circana, continuing to drive the development of data-led insights and commercial strategies for the global beauty sector. Earlier in her career, she held roles at IRI, Dun & Bradstreet, Gartner, KLM UK, and within the fashion industry. June is a recognised industry voice, regularly speaking at leading events and providing expert commentary to publications such as The Times, Vogue, and Cosmetic Business News. Outside work, June has competed in equestrian sports for over 25 years and played football and handball at a competitive level in Norway and the UK. A keen skier and swimmer, she also served in the Norwegian Red Cross’s rescue teams, qualifying in avalanche search and rescue. She is committed to charitable causes, supporting cancer, dementia, and Parkinson’s through endurance challenges, including the Three Yorkshire Peaks, dressage for the Brain Tumour Charity, swimming 20km for Dementia UK, and currently training for Snowdon in June for The Eve Appeal.

Kelly Goris is a Regulatory Toxicologist and Safety Assessor at The Regulatory Company (TRC). She is performing product safety evaluations, ingredient reviews and interpretation of regulatory changes. Kelly also oversees work carried out in PRIMS, the company’s software used by TRC and brands for accurate and efficient compliance management. Her background includes a Master in Toxicology and Environmental Health, as well as several professional courses with the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Her regulatory experience is complemented by earlier roles as founder and formulator of a cosmetic start-up, and research into human health impacts of chemical exposures. Collectively, this background equips her with a comprehensive perspective on cosmetic safety - spanning human health, environmental considerations, and regulatory compliance.With years of hands-on experience as a regulatory expert and cosmetic safety assessor, she has reviewed a wide range of product categories, including skincare, haircare and more specialised formulations such as oxidative and non-oxidative hair dyes. She combines scientific rigour with practical regulatory expertise to help brands clearly understand and fulfil their compliance and safety obligations before entering the EU, UK, USA or Canadian markets.Kelly is also a member of the ERPA - the European Responsible Person Association. Through this role she supports ERPA’s expert contributions to, for example, the Working Group on Cosmetic Products of the European Commission.

Nibi Lawson is a reformed accountant with a background in Finance. She began channelling her obsession with hair into Kinky Apothecary out of sheer frustration at not being able to get her hands on suitable products in Nigeria and then realising the problem was more widespread.   Launching in 2010 as Nigeria's first natural hair company, Kinky Apothecary is a natural hair brand on the surface but our mission extends far beyond that. Through products, education and inspiration our aim has always been to encourage self-love within our community. Nibi's main goal is to shatter Eurocentric beauty standards and empower all women to embrace their unique beauty.   Since our origins as a third-party product retail company, Kinky Apothecary has since expanded into brick and mortar with our first physical store and healthy hair salon, and we are in the process of developing our private label which aims to bring transparency to the ingredient supply chain, as well as focus on amplifying ownership and job creation within the African beauty industry.   In addition to Kinky Apothecary, Nibi is also building haiRx, an AI-driven trichology app which leverages a decade of data insights to provide personalised hair and scalp health advice.

Zak Heath is a beauty creator, model, consultant, and founder of Compact - a platform and initiative designed to bring together beauty lovers, creatives, and brands. At 17 he shared how makeup is genderless garnering an audience of over 1.3 million across platforms to spotlight the Boys in Beauty and educate those who believed men shouldn’t wear makeup. At 22 Zak has worked with global fashion and beauty brands including Dior, YSL, Charlotte Tilbury, Valentino and Armani Beauty. Zak has helped shape negative perceptions around men’s beauty by speaking to the modern man about how to look and feel like your best self. This has led to Zak being featured in Vogue, Glamour and Man About Town. Zak has also hosted events supported by Sephora, Anastasia Beverly Hills and the British Beauty Council and is the global face for Kayali’s Freedom Fragrance Collection. He also regularly speaks on panels, continuing to advocate that beauty is for everyone.

Ailsa Petchey is a fitness instructor with over 34 years of experience, specialising in Pilates and supporting women through menopause and hormonal changes. She is the Co-Founder and Director of Olive Collective CIC, a community organisation dedicated to educating, empowering and supporting women through every stage of menopause. Through this work, Ailsa co-created the Don’t Sweat It! Walking & Talking groups and workshops, which provide safe, welcoming spaces for women to connect, learn and feel supported during hormone transition. Ailsa leads successful workshops, talks and community programmes, helping women better understand their bodies and navigate midlife with greater confidence, knowledge and wellbeing. She is also the author of Don’t Sweat It! Manage Your Menopause, a practical 21-day health and wellness programme designed to help women feel stronger, calmer and more in control during menopause. Combining decades of fitness expertise with menopause education, Ailsa is passionate about helping women move well, manage hormonal changes and feel confident in their bodies during midlife and beyond.

Professor Shalom Lloyd MBE is a pharmacist of over 30 years and the founder of UTÖ, an all-natural intimate lubricant created to address vaginal dryness linked to menopause, cancer treatment and autoimmune conditions. An award-winning entrepreneur and passionate advocate for women’s health, Shalom founded UTÖ after witnessing too many women suffer intimate discomfort in silence. Her work sits at the intersection of healthcare, beauty and empowerment , repositioning intimate wellness as essential, not taboo. Through education, retail partnerships and public speaking, she is committed to normalising conversations around vaginal health, sexual comfort and dignity, ensuring women feel informed, supported and confident in their bodies.

Bukky Apampa is a Clinical Research Study Leader with over 15 years of experience spanning both the global pharmaceutical industry and academic research environments. She led inaugural early-phase clinical research initiatives across multiple African countries, a pioneering programme that set a new benchmark for inclusion and representation in global clinical trials. Her work has been instrumental in challenging the historical underrepresentation of diverse populations in research and advancing more equitable, globally relevant healthcare innovation. A passionate advocate for diversity and inclusivity in clinical development, Bukky is committed to ensuring that research reflects real-world populations because representation in trials directly impacts safety, efficacy and patient outcomes. Alongside her professional leadership, Bukky is deeply dedicated to women’s empowerment. Through mentoring and advocacy, she supports women to recognise their value, amplify their voice and lead with confidence both within corporate environments and beyond.  Living with lupus herself, Bukky brings not only scientific expertise but lived experience to conversations around chronic illness, autoimmune conditions and their impact on overall wellbeing including the often-overlooked dimension of intimate health. Tutu Ogunsanwo is an Advanced Clinical Practitioner Pharmacist and Independent Prescriber with extensive experience across hospital and primary care settings. Her clinical expertise spans gynaecology, neurology, urology, paediatrics and chronic disease management. She specialises in medicines optimisation, prescribing safety and improving patient outcomes, working autonomously to assess, diagnose and manage both acute and long-term conditions. With deep knowledge of how medications and chronic conditions impact women’s health, Tutu brings a vital perspective on the often-overlooked link between prescribing, hormonal shifts and intimate wellbeing.

She is a respected educator, published author and sought-after speaker, championing inclusive, evidence-based care, particularly for minority ethnic women who are often underserved in menopause conversations. As Chair of the Exams Committee at the College of Sexual & Reproductive Healthcare, she plays a key role in shaping national clinical standards. With a compassionate, patient-centred approach, Dr Wokoma believes every woman deserves to be heard, understood and expertly supported.
