Gabriella Anderson is the Founder and CEO of Braids Gang, a leading global platform championing the professional braiding and textured hair industry.
Through Braids Gang, Gabriella works at the intersection of culture, community and commerce, creating opportunities for textured hair professionals while advocating for greater visibility, recognition and investment across the beauty industry.
Inspired by her own journey with hair loss and rebuilding confidence, Gabriella founded Braids Gang to create greater representation and opportunity for textured hair professionals and the communities they serve. Today, Braids Gang has grown into an international community of almost 600,000 people, connecting brands, professionals and consumers through education, advocacy, events and industry collaboration.
Under Gabriella's leadership, Braids Gang has collaborated with leading professional and textured hair brands, while its work has been recognised by major publications including ELLE, Essence, Cosmopolitan, Glamour UK and Hairdressers Journal International.
Gabriella is also the creator of Braiders Brunch UK, an annual industry gathering designed to elevate the professional braiding community by connecting textured hair professionals with leading brands, educators and decision-makers through conversation, education, collaboration and commercial opportunity.
Beyond Braids Gang, Gabriella is a member of the Hair Equity Taskforce with the British Beauty Council, contributing to national conversations around textured hair education, representation and industry standards across the UK. She also serves as Programme Lead at Our Pain 2 Power CIC, where she leads trauma-informed programmes supporting vulnerable young people through confidence-building, education, employability and personal development.
