Meet thim: The Korean Clinical Beauty Brand Arriving at Tones of Beauty

Founded in Seoul in 2019, thim has quietly built a presence in over 1,000 stores across 15 international markets. This July, it makes its UK trade debut at Stand H71.

thim is a premium Korean beauty brand built on clinical formulation and considered design - and it has been quietly making its mark since 2019.

Now stocked by major retailers across 15 international markets and featured three times in British Vogue, thim launched in the UK in 2025 with a clear point of view: ritual over routine, intention over impulse, K-beauty meets clinical science. Seven years on from its founding, the brand's premise remains the same - that great skincare should work quietly, precisely, and let the results do the talking.

The approach combines K-beauty philosophy with independently verified clinical results and the numbers back it up. That means the layered, skin-first approach that Korean beauty is known for, backed by data rather than marketing language. The Rose PDRN Radiance Mist, for instance, delivers a 95% improvement in skin hydration and a 69% improvement in radiance after a single use. The PDRN formulation across the range uses 20,000ppm vegan PDRN - a concentration most brands do not disclose, let alone match. Everything is vegan-certified and dermatologically tested. For buyers, that matters. It gives you a product story that holds up to scrutiny and a retail narrative that does not rely on aesthetics alone.

The UK hero range covers five products that between them address the core pillars of any credible skincare offer. The Rose PDRN Radiance Mist and Rose PDRN Hydra Serum sit at the heart of the collection - lightweight, fast-absorbing, and designed for daily use across skin types. The Rose PDRN and EGF Intense Cream pairs PDRN with Epidermal Growth Factor and rice peptides for skin that needs sustained barrier support. The Luminous Skin Sun Serum SPF50+ is a hybrid SPF and skin serum in a format UK consumers have increasingly moved toward - broad-spectrum protection without the weight or white cast of a traditional sunscreen. And the Heartleaf Vegan Pore Cleansing Oil, the newest addition to the range, is built on thim's proprietary PORE LASER complex alongside heartleaf extract and eight-type hyaluronic acid, achieving 100% clinical satisfaction across all measures in testing. Retail pricing runs from £20 to £32 across the range - accessible enough to move volume, with strong retail appeal and margin that makes sense for stockists.

thim came to the UK in 2025 deliberately. Consumer appetite for clinically backed, ingredient-led skincare has shifted significantly, and buyers are under real pressure to stock products that can justify their claims. The brand's focus on innovation and independently verified results gives UK stockists a point of difference that a newer or less established launch simply cannot offer, and three appearances in British Vogue provide the editorial credibility to support it. It is the kind of brand that arrives already doing the work.

The thim UK team will be at Tones of Beauty at ExCeL London on 1-2 July. Visit Stand H71 and book a meeting to discuss stocking and distribution opportunities.
